WELCOME
My name is Lou. I’m a community herbalist, land steward, craftswoman (and many more things) based in the south of France.
I am a trained herbalist who fell in love with Mugwort many moons ago and never looked back. I was raised by a mother who turned to plants to heal me, i have had a life long relationship with them and chose to dive deeper into this path over 5 years ago as i was navigating chronic pain/illness. I have a clinical training but am more focused on the emotional, communal and spiritual healing that occurs when we devote our time and energy to the more than human world. I have an apothecary line birthed from the plants i grow myself or ethically wildcraft around me. I also offer consultations on a sliding scale basis.
As a craftswoman, I work seasonally with textiles and embroidery, wild clay, natural dyes, earth pigments and let my curiosity and love for earth based craft lead me. I am greatly influenced by folk art and the many years i spent living between India and Nepal.
I believe craft can be a bridge to cultivate our relationships with the natural world as well as other human beings and i chose to devote my life to deepen those connections to the best i can.
Everything you’ll find here is made by me, slowly, gently, with integrity and respect for the materials i use. I truly hope they will serve you in any way you might need.
Stay updated about shop drops and potential workshops happenings by subscribing to the newsletter, this is where i share what i’m working on / inspired by.
